Silent Auction 2009

Posted Friday, Jan 9, 2009 by pgrant

This year’s Silent Auction will be held in conjunction with our 13th annual Medieval Feast. Both events are at Calvary Baptist Church, 2608 Blaisdell Avenue South, Minneapolis, on Friday and Saturday, January 30-31. Each evening, doors to the Silent Auction open at 5:00 p.m. The Auction will continue throughout both evenings during breaks in the Medieval Feast’s dinner and theater performance. Come, bid, eat, view, and bid some more!

Auction proceeds support the school’s programs, with a portion going toward the 10th grade’s senior class trip in two years. The students of the 10th grade are offering their services on the night of the Auction, as waiters, guides, and ticket sellers. Their gardening, babysitting, cleaning and painting services will be available for bid at the auction, too.

Watershed would be very grateful if you could make a donation to our Silent Auction, whether an item, a service, or a gift certificate. If you are willing to make a donation, or if you have any questions, please contact parent coordinator, Polly Dedrick (651-776-1781, pollyflutist@ yahoo.com). Thank you for your support of Watershed High School!

Sincerely,

Polly Dedrick

Silent Auction 2007-2008

Posted Friday, Nov 30, 2007 by pgrant

This school year, we’re integrating our annual Silent Auction with our Medieval Feast. Both events will be Feb. 1-2, 2008, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4120 17th Avenue South, Minneapolis. Part of the Silent Auction will be during the Friday evening performance and the other part will be during the Saturday evening performance. (The Saturday matinee will not have an auction component.)

We need your help, particularly if you’re a 9th or 10th grade parent. A portion of the Silent Auction proceeds goes into the class accounts, building towards a better-funded senior trip in a few years.

Come to the Community Council meeting this Wednesday, December 5, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. to learn more and see how you can help. You can also call me at 612-871-4363 x206 or email me at pgrant@watershedhs.org. Thank you for your support.
