Smoking- Rules & Regs

the following rules are from the Student Handbook:

*Use of Tobacco Products *(page 12)

Watershed High School is dedicated to creating an environment that is
healthful for all and which enables people to be free of addictions. Smoking
and the use of any tobacco products on WHS campus, CLWS property or at any
school sponsored event or activity will not be permitted at any time by
anyone.

Students who are found in violation of this policy will be subject to the
following penalties:

1. First Offense (1 day) Suspension or Administrative Dismissal

2. Second Offense (3 days) Out-of-School Suspension

3. Repeated Offenses are dealt with by the discretion of the Faculty.

Smoking on school property is also a violation of Hennepin County Ordinance
#21 Section 12.3 and may carry substantial fines. Tobacco products and
paraphernalia (including lighters) are subject to confiscation with no
guarantee of return.
