I love Watershed because I am an individual, not just a face in a crowd;
because I am important, but not favored; and, most of all, because I am
lifted gently forward.

History
Watershed High School has been a public charter school since 2002. Previously a private Waldorf high school with a successful five-year history, the school continues to draw from its original curriculum and standards.

Mission

Watershed High School seeks to nurture the intellect, stimulate the will, and embrace the creative potential of youth in a balanced environment that engenders reverence, respect, and responsibility for nature and the needs of other human beings.

We realize our mission through encouraging discussion and reflective inquiry in the classroom. Curriculum is designed to help students find an active role in the world through community involvement, and to stimulate the active will through form, discipline, and hands-on experiences.
